The majority had crisp skin with a few needing a little more frying to get the same texture. Wings had good buffalo sauce flavor and portioned well (10). I ordered some favorites and classics from this location: wings, burger and fries with a couple of add-on toppings, and some dessert in the form of a light apple crisp. Service was well paced until the end when as explained to me a lone one or two remaining kitchen staff got behind on orders which to me was quite understandable. The barkeeps are consistently attentive, friendly, and conversational. The vibe at the Fairfax location looks distinctly local with mostly people from the surrounding neighborhoods gathering, including families. Dogfish has gone through some changes with consolidating their menu in the past couple of years and closing their Falls Church location.
I visited on a relatively quiet Friday night after happy hour to get a late dinner.
